my friend ashley and i were talking about Japaneses hair straightening treatment. and she told me she uses this creme that is for "black people hair" it straightens your hair by putting it in then washing it out. but she said it can lose you lose hair. do you know any other factors of this stuff, like what its called, and how does it work?

first of all, it is called a relaxer and if she uses it and she isnt black then its not just for"black people hair". you have to determine what kind of hair you have. it sounds like you want to tame your curls. a less expensive option to the japanese system is a product called "just for me texture softener" in the ETHNIC aisle of wal-mart or sally's. its made just for curly hair. i am brazilian and puerto rican and i use it to tame my curls because my hair is so curly.

it damages your hair, but it works great!!
