Curly, Frizzy and Dry Hair?

the thing is i have frizzy, curly and dry hair, i tried many hair straightening shampoos, leave on hair moisturiser. whenever i use flat irons to straighten my hair, there will still be curly bits all over plus the straightness only stays for a short time and i have alot of baby hair. i can't rebond my hair as i will damage it with sea water when i go sailing.

for straightening there not much you can do except keepin using the flat iron over those curly pieces and curl it the opisite way!!when your done straightening you hair put a little very tiny bit of conditioner rub your hand together and put it aroudn your hair so it wont frizz and it wont look dry if you want to keep it curly but not frizzy when you get out of the showertake a little bit of conditioner and run it through your hair use mousse instead of gel the blow dry and scrunch at the same time then spray a little bit of harispray and your hair wont look dry or frizzy and it will look perfect hope i could help and hope evrything works out!!

Your first step is to treat your dry hair. Don't focus on wanting straight hair focus on the dry aspect. When its dry no matter how much you flat iron it it will not look the way you want. Get a moisturizing shampoo. Also I recommend getting an ionic flat iron. Try conair for a cheap one. I use the conair wet and dry which has nice settings to dry my hair then softens my hair and straightens it. Shop around you can get good ones that condition your hair type. After using this it should eliminate the need for lots of chemicals. For an extra step try using Aussies miracle cream. A few treatments of this will make your hair nice and soft after a few treatments. When your hair is soft it will be easier to straighten

That's a tough one. The best advice I can give you is:

1. Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner instead of a straightening shampoo and conditioner. that will help with the dry hair issues and help to keep down the frizz.

2. When styling use a straightening balm and a gel while you blow dry. the straightening balm will help to resist humidity, while the gel will give the hair hold.

3. While flat ironing use a thermal protectant. my favorite is Aquage Beyond Body Thermal Styler. this will protect and seal down the cuticle layer of the hair shaft while ironing.

4. about 2 times a month use a moisturizing deep conditioner.
