i have revlon ceramic flat iron....my blow dryer is not working........can i just dry my hair and straighen it after it is dry????????? i want really straight hair and i have the got 2 be hair straightening serum so i was wondering if that i enuf........

yes you can I do it all the time and my hair actually turns out better when I don't blow dry it because it's less damaging to blow dry and straighten it than it is to just do one or the other. It's also good that you have straighten serum that could help to protect your hair from some of the heat and with make your hair silkier. Put a small amount of the straightening serum in your hair and then seperate your hair into sections and straighten it as you normally would do after you blow dry it. As long as you make sure that your hair is fully air dryed before you straighten it it should turn out great

You can straighten your hair whenever it is dry...but do not straighten your hair when it is wet. This could burn your hair and/or cause an eletrical shock.

if you mean let it air dry thennnn straighten it, then yes. that will work just fine. i do that all the time if i dont want to especially damage my hair from having 2 heat sources on it in such a short period of time.

dont use your flat iron on WET hair though... it doesnt really work.. unless you have the "wet2dry" models.

Don't do that.Your hair will be frazzled and it will not straighten it it will only burn it.Either wait till it drys and then straighten it or don't straighten it at all!

You can straighten your hair whenever it is dry, it doesn't need to air-dry. BUT... do not straighten it when it is wet, you will cause serious damage to your hair (but no it will not cause an electrical shock)

yeah if you wait for your hair to be dry then straighten it. there is nothing wrong with that. i prefer not to blow dry my hair before straighten my hair cuz that will just damage my hair more. so yeah hoped i help! good luck!

yes you can use a straightener on air dried hair. hair straightening serum should help. also comb it well before you straighten it. pull section straight using a comb, and hold the ends when you run the straightener. i found that the straighteners with combs attached work better on naturally dried hair, so you might as well comb it manually.

I straighten my hair everyday and you need to get a blowdryer. The revlon ceramic flat iron is not good for your hair especially because it's not one of those really good straighteners. I suggest buying a blowdryer and if you want your hair to be silky and super straight, go to Sally's and buy the Ion anti-frizz solutions with heat protection: straightening iron spray. You spray little mists onto your hair and you straighten after.
