Inexpensive Japanese Straightening?

I want to spend $100-$150 on Japanese Hair Straightening, but every place I call has it for around $400 ! What sort of places have Japanese or Thermal Straightening at the price I'm looking for?

that response about destroying hair is soooo wrong. i am irish american, ive had the process 3 times and loved it LOVED IT!

it lasts for months. i used to get it done by japanese immigrants in new york at hair mates in the east village - they have used to have a special on mondays for 220. that's the cheapest ive found. good luck!

I inquired about it at one of the most exclusive salons in Los Angeles and was told that I should not do it. They said that most caucasian's hair is not strong enough to handle such a procedure. A responsible salon will do what is right for the customer, not what helps their books. Report It

First off, this method is EXTREMELY damaging to your hair. Unless you have asian hair, or otherwise really coarse, thick-stranded hair, you shouldn't do it. It will destroy your hair. So, that said, cutting corners with such a destructive process is not a good idea. Pay for a good stylist to get a good product.
