Any ways to straighten hair without damaging it?

I have REALLY curly hair and I want to straighten it. Is there any way to straighten it or at least keep it not so messy? At the same time I dont want to use anything that will damage it. So, got any tips?

If you are using a straighting iron, don't use it when your hair is still wet that is the biggest mistake anyone could make. Also try to use a good hair protecting agent before trying to do anything to your hair.

First of all, Herbal Essences has that shampoo that straightens it, I haven't used it, but usually their products are good. Also, if you have a straightener, you could use that and that spray that they have in drugstores that help keep it straightened. If you need it done for a special occasion, you could always just get it straightened professionally from a hair salon, chances are you could.

You can go to a salon near you and get your hair relaxed. The hair dressers do some weird thing to your hair every 6 months so your hair is easier to handle, my friend gets it done all the time and she says it works! You can get your hair Japanese straightened if you want it straight for a long time, like a few months. I know at pharmacies like CVS there is some sorta of spray you can put on your hair before you straighten it which helps less damage to occur to your hair. Otherwise, keep your hair curly and only straighten like once every week or so to change up your look, natural is best anyway!

they make a 2 sided brush now, you can use while you blow dry your hair....just make sure your dryer has a diffuser on it
