What do you put in your hair to maintain straight hair after having it chemically straighten.?

Ive asked this question because getting chemically straighten hair means that you can only wash your hair less frequently to ensure that your straighten hair last longer.

So what do you use (products) in your hair if you're only washing your hair one a week or fortnight?

Especially if it looks dry a bit puffed out but straight hair.. (Short chemically straighten hair)

Should I just put a bit of conditioner on my hair everyday and leave it there without washing it out?
