How to straighten hair w/o damaging?!?!?

hey i have really wavy hair and i absolutley despise it. but i love it when my hair is straightened so i use my flat iron after i wash %26amp; dry it. i use a heat protectant to help reduce damage, but its still getting damaged.

what is the easiest way to straighten my hair w/o heat or damagE?

How to straighten hair w/o damaging?!?!?

Healthy hair tips:

Use a moisturizing shampoo condtioner and leave in creme. I reccomened Sunsilk Hydra TLC it leaves my hair soft and managable.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled.

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week

Avoid combing hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb.

Deep condition twice a week

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water.

When using a conditioner leave on for about 1-3 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to have shiny hair

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

If you dye your hair do it atleast once a year, hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill your hair.

All of these products work great on dry hair:

How to straighten hair w/o damaging?!?!?

I would try getting some leave in conditioner too. herbal essence has a good leave in...

also try blow drying it as straight as possible first, so you dont have to use the flat iron as long...

and dont hold the flat iron on your ends for a long time....

oh and NEVER straightnen your hair when its wet! even if it is a wet to straight flat iron! that is horrible! for your hair...

Good Luck!

How to straighten hair w/o damaging?!?!?

Hi. Theres no way to straighten hair and not have damage. If you do it often, you will get damage. The less you straighten, the less damage you'll get. Trust me. On a personal note, I think you should stop despising your hair. That is a really harsh word to say when God has given you nice wavy hair. There are people who are balding with no solutions, having problems such as traction alopecia, losing their hair through chemo treatments, have so much damage that their hair will never grow back, you really have to thank God that you are not in those situations.

If you dont love your hair, you will always be in bondage with it. I was the same way and now cherish my hair after finding solutions for my hair problems. Dont compare your hair to others. Some hairstyles I just cant do to my hair, but thats okay. Im fine with that and I make cool hairstyles for myself that no one else does.

Take a look at these websites. Most people who straighten their hair do so because they cant find products for their curly, wavy, kinky or coily hair. I know because I did it. But I have found what worked for me. Here they are:

www.honeyfig.com

www.longlovelylocks.com

www.janecartersolution.com

www.jessicurl.com

Look at their hair care tips. You'll find good info there that would help you create a regimen. Also you can look at my other answers for info too that I've picked up to create my own regimen. Hope this helps. God bless.
