im sure my hair is a lot different than yours but i hve a blowdryer called a silver bird and i use that everytime i wash my hair and it straighens it(and i have very curly hair) it has these pick things on the end of it that straighen your hair with out buring it dead with a straighter so you could try it and see if it works...it is cheaper than a straghter too

The technique used in the videos are great, although I don't recommend the straighteners. I would prefer the Sedu over a CHI, GHD, or anything else for that matter.
