so i am getting my hair pemintaly straightened..does anyone know if it looks good? or does anyone have any pictures?

also,when you get it done its it like really straight where you don't have to straighten it? lol

My friend got her hair permanently straightened and it was very straight and absolutly gorgeous. I loved it. Of course there were some times, unusually, she would have to fix up a few spots in her hair, but nothing really major. Good luck!

the professional chi relaxer (done at salons) will straighten your hair for about 6 months. you will, however, have to blow dry your hair straight and use a chi flat iron to keep it really straight.

the only bad thing are how when your hair grows you have to straighten some parts with a regular straightener.

and clorine can damage the perm. so you have to take a shower right after you get out of the pool.

my sisters got it done for about 4 or 5 hundred dollars and it looks great. it really is permanantely straight. she hasnt done anything to it for over a year and its still really good looking. her hair isnt damaged and they also thinned it out for them

You will still need to "maintain" your hair after getting it chemically straightened. Don't get the idea that your hair will be straight everyday with no work! My advice is to definitely invest in a Chi. It is the top of the line ceramic flat iron you can buy. Then buy some Chi Iron Guard which will protect your hair against the direct heat caused by flat ironing. It will be *easier* to straighten your hair but you aren't going to roll out of bed everyday with dream hair so just keep that in mind!

if you dont know if it will look good you can always do it temporary. get a perm kit from wal-mart or somewheres. and then when you put the chemicals in your hair constantly comb it through. it works fine. and its cheap. it lasts a couple months, then you have to re-do it. . . hope it helps

don't please.do youself a favor and don't do it.if you do that it will seriously damage your hair!but....its really your choice.my friend did that and now its ugly and boring.she used to have beautiful curly hair but now its messed up
