Chemically straightened hair!?

i am 13 and want to get my hair chemically straightened!! people tell me not to because it is bad for my hair!! any advise??

if you chemically straightened your hair it could possibly burn your scalp and strip your hair of its natural color..Also the roots wouldn't be growing normally

If your hair is permed, use a perm solution and follow the directions like a perm. Just don't roll it and use a brush to straighten it. I did it to mine and it turned out great.

You can chemically straighten it but it depends on lots of things. Is your hair STRONG? Have you done a lot to it chemically? You will need to go to a good salon and spend a lot of money to get it done without hurting your hair. Be careful how much you do to your hair at 13, I used to change mine every month and I'm lucky I have strong hair as it didn't always look good and I regret the damage. Think it through thoroughly before you do.

yes chemically straighting your hair is a bad idea. y not have a friend or go to the hair salon and have them straiten it with a straghting iron. so then u can wear your hair straight or curly. (thats what i do)

It is bad for your hair, but if you're hair is outta control, you should definitely talk to your mom about getting it done. I've done it. It last maybe a year and a half.
